Hey, ya'll whazzup? The battle at Rick's Bar went quite well for Grandmaster Spaghetti and the Da Bitter Magician. The Tough Guyz didn't know what hit them. It was very incredible. Anyways...
There has been an enormous change in fortune for the Zambians. The Zambian Relief Fund has donated over $6,000 to help others in need! Fantastic!
Today we visited Thomas Jefferson elementary school, where was had a lovley 5-slide powerpoint about Zambia and the history of rap. We received $8! It was interesting.
Next the tour took us to the C.C.L. (Concerned Citizen League), where we rapped a bit. We received no money, sadly. Our gig at Gangstaz' Bar was cancelled. So now we are at the Motel Six lobby with a donations bucket. We have been there for 4 hours now and have collected $20. Only two more hours to go!

This is our nice room!

And the pool!

We have a lot to do! Oh, look we just got a donation! A one dollar bill! Sweet!

Rap Battle at Rick's Bar

Just in!
Something big just happened! At Rick's Bar a few blocks down from my cheap apartment your two favorite Underground Rappers got in a rap battle. It's getting pretty intense. They are battling the infamous Tough Guyz. I'd write down what's going on, but I'm just too engrossed with the lyrics. They are so moving. They are great.

This is what the place usually looks like but right now its packed with fans and bystanders. I'd take a picture, but I left my phone at the apartment. I feeling this is gonna last a while...I'll just fill ya'll in with the news.

Zambia: Another tour to schools will be in three days. Our stops will be: Thomas Jefferson
elementary, then we will go to the local Concerned Citizen League (C.C.L.) to inform them that we are not insane, and we WILL help Zambians with our raps. After that we'll be heading to a Gangstaz Bar and Grill to bust some sick rhymes. Hotel lobby donation drive and sleep (Motel 6). Next, a gig at the Southside Junkyard Lounge, and a donation drive at a gas station. If we get lucky we could get a chance to open for The Swag Kingz of Tex-ar-kana at the Glory Nightclub. We are kind off excited because this is the first time we have ever preformed at a nightclub in a Baptist Church's basement. Sounds cool and it should be lots of fun! More to come.

This is the van we are using! Fun, huh.

Oh, and I've found more Charities to use.
1. African Peace Society (New Jersey Chapter #6)
They have sponsored us, and are paying for 25% of our lodging costs. They are pretty generous.
2. Food and Water Organization
Talked to them on the phone yesterday. Seem nice. Check out their website.
3. Happy Donations
My cousin Logan recommended them.

In a continuation of my Christmas tree photos...
Clara Higginson's (Grandmasta' Spaghetti's mom) first tree...before tiny destroyed it ( sort of).

Now for the second one...

I personally like this one better.
Logan's tree:
I LOVE his ideas.

Christmas Rap

In honor of all things Christmas...Grandmaster Spaghetti and the Bitter Magician have vowed to make a rap about Christmas. It should be out soon enough. After being put on YouTube, it will be featured on an album called All I Want for Christmas is Hip Hop. It will feature songs by The Sexy Raisins, the Happy rappers' and many more. Expect it to be in stores soon. For the list of possible stores see the list on my first blog post.

This lovely picture always puts me in the holiday spirit. Oh, speaking of that...Not really.
Tiny knocked down the Christmas tree at Grandmaster Spaghetti's parent's house. He is also getting a bark collar in his stocking. Well, Da Bittah' Magician is going to Westwego to visit family for Christmas.
I love Christmas.

And I love the D.J. Unions in Brooklyn, too. They helped with a Christmas toy drive. I'm real proud of ya'll. Good job out there.

Zambia: The donations are up. We have collected a lot from the drives Grandmaster Spaghetti and Da' Bittah' Magician have gone to. 3! In the past week alone!
#1. Quality Learning High School!
A little ways out, about a 4 hour car ride...but Grandmaster Spaghetti's raps make the time fly! :-)
We did a concert and collected $15 for Zambia. A lot of fun.

#2. We moved on to a Shoney's, where we ate and busted a freestyle over pancakes. Grandmaster got a little bit over-excited, so we got kicked out...but hey, we got $65 to give to Zambians (And pay for gas).

Onward to #3!
We headed to The Black Unity and Cultural Association of Upstate New York (B.U.C.A.U.N.Y.).
We had a good time talking about rap and Zambia. We scored $72.99!! Yipee!

Hohoho! Tis' the season for Christmas tree shopping. Here's a picture of my good friend Semaj James' tree.

Yes, he is serious. Here's Patrick's tree...a hell of a lot more traditional.

A Beauty, Isn't it?
